Kiwi chick hatches from bad egg
A kiwi chick has hatched from a badly damaged egg with the help of masking tape. A Department of Conservation worker found the egg with a large hole in its shell two weeks ago in Paraninihi, in north Taranaki, and took it to Rainbow Springs in Rotorua. The chick hatched from its repaired egg after 11 days of careful monitoring. The new kiwi has been named Fissure.

He said that the US government is working together with private companies to transport astronauts on long duration missions in deep space. Obama is going to meet scientists this week, engineers and students to dream up new ways of reaching the goal. Obama is now the final months of his eight-year long presidency, but hopes to get these plans going before he leaves the White House.

Botanic Garden Was Fun!!!
Botanic Garden Was Fun!!!
Today our whole school went to the Botanic Gardens in Manurewa. Once everyone got out of the bus we had to wait for awhile and the whole school split and went there own directions. My classroom (R11) went to the edible gardens and we saw vegetables. After that we went to the Threatens Native Plants. We walked around and saw some plants and big trees. We couldn't see the Native Forest because it was too far and we missed the Herb Garden. The last spot we went to was the Rock Garden and we just chilled there and and we where watching the eels swain with the ducks.
