My Olympic Mascot

On Friday my class had to draw a Olympic Mascot on Sumo paint or Pixlr but most of us went on Sumo paint. As you can see my Mascot is running so fast lines are coming out of him and he is coming first. He looks amazing right Ummmmmmm his name is Sam because my friend Samuel helped me design it.

My Speech

Rugby photo

Two weeks ago room 11 had to think of a speech and say it in front of the whole class. We had three attempts and our first one was just a practice and our second one was another practice round. The third one was when we all finished our speeches. My speech was on Rugby because it is my passion and my speech time was 2 minutes and 35 seconds long. My favourite part about my speech is when I said that Jonah Lomu and Richie McCaw were very humble and respectful on and off the field. The speech finalists are Samuel, Min Zin, Sebastian and Meafou and they have to say it on Friday for the whole school.

Leopard Escapes Zoo in Utah USA

Leopard Escape the Zoo in Utah USA

A leopard escaped from a zoo in Salt Lake City Utah and hundreds of zoo visitors  took shelter inside buildings, cafes and gift shops. The 4 year old female leopard was found by visitors from the zoo about an hour later sleeping outside on a high ledge in a public area close to it's exhibit. Zoo staff don't know where the Leopard went or how it escaped its enclosure.

Huge slip at Waihi gold mine.

 Gold Mine
                                                 Gold Mine
Around two million tonnes of rock has slipped down at a gold mine Waihi. No one was working in the Martha open cast mine. Luckily there were no injuries and the slip was not a surprise as officials have been monitoring it for a year. There is still movement being monitored at the Gold Mine.

Waitangi Day

              Waitangi Day!

Haka! (Traditional Maori Ritual)On Waitangi day me and my family just stayed home but we were watching the Auckland Nines and the Sevens. We also had chicken and chips and pizza to eat while watching the Nines and the sevens.

But it was good that the New Zealand team in the sevens won. We were all going WILD and CRAZY!
