Ruapotaka Mini Olympics

Ruapotaka Mini Olympics

Last week on Friday Ruapotaka had a Mini Olympics and we started off with a Opening Ceremony with the Greece National Anthem playing and after we finished the Opening Ceremony we all split off into our groups and played our activities. I was in Ethiopia and I was the team leader, the sport I enjoyed the most was soccer and the score was 2 all against China. We finished off with a Closing Ceremony and we also finished off with the New Zealand National Anthem, it was fun.

My Olympic story

On Monday we had to write a Realistic Fiction story and we had to get into groups and I was with Popi, Teremoana, and Isabel. My story was about athletics and I was competing against Usain Bolt and I chose athletics because I love running. The favourite part about my story is when I hear the New Zealand national anthem play.
