Wow What a day at the film festival it was so cool and we saw lots of exciting videos. Man when Ruapotaka’s movies came on I felt embarrassed but in the middle of our movies I felt very proud of room 9 and room 10 because our movie  went so well that there was alot of noise.

Room 9 got to take there chromebooks home and we had to show our wevideo to our parents to take them home. Then we got to take our chromebooks home for two day and bring them back for our learning we had to take them home for our homework too

TV 3 Highlights

On a sunny Wednesday me and some of the players from University had to stand on the stage and shake the All Blacks hands at Victoria Park. I got to touch the William Web Ellis Cup too it was pretty amazing touch the cup. Then after shaking the All Blacks hands we went and had food to eat like sandwiches, lollies, and we had a powerade each too.

Netball

On Wednesday the 12th of August 2015 the year 5 and 6 went with the year 7 and 8 for netball. There were 25 teams and we vs 6 teams. We won 2 games and lost the others. We played at the AMI Netball Courts. There were 2 captains, one was for the year 7&8 and one for the year 5&6. The year 7 and 8’s came 2nd. But sadly the year 6 and 5 came last but it was so AMAZING!!!!

Clouds and Water

Water Cycle

First the water drops from the clouds, it stays on the ground for a while and then evaporates into the clouds again.

Some of this water flows into rivers, lakes, oceans. Also did you know when water evaporates it could be frozen in the clouds and turn into hail.

The water does the same thing and goes around and around  again.

      

Strong password

We Are Learning To create strong passwords and make sure our Google account is secure.        


1. Our password needs to be unique and strong so people won't hack into it online. 
2. Don't use your first name or your pets name because it's to easy for someone to guess. 
3. Don't include yourself in your password, use a sentences from a book or a from a song.

We have arrived here at Gallipoli and I am already homesick. I am nervous.

Everywhere I look all I see around me there is dead bodies everywhere around me and animals too. There's so many people injured.

I am enjoying the biscuits you sent from home they are delicious and everyone want to have some.   

Send my love to my family and friend like my mum and dad and my brothers and sister.

I miss you all terribly I can’t want to come home to see use again.

Malo e Lelei everyone my name is Sione, I am a year 6 student at Ruapotaka school. I was born in America but I was raised in New Zealand. My favourite sports are rugby, basketball, American football and soccer. I play rugby for Varsity in the under elevens team. My favourite subjects at school are maths and art .
